Electric Vehicles (EVs) and hybrids now make up over 50% of new car registrations in the UK. With EVs fast becoming the norm rather than the excpetion, offering EV charging facilities at holiday properties and rentals is now a beneficial selling point that will attract visitors.

Offering EV charging provides your customers with peace of mind, particularly in remote areas, knowing that they don't have to go searching for a public charge point while on holiday.

The governemnet are also helping out. B&Bs, Holiday Lets and Campsites are now eligible for a grant of up to £350 per socket through the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme.

The scheme allows you to reduce the cost of installing electric vehicle charging points at your holiday let. There are some conditions to the grant which include having off street parking for your guests.

You can find out if your property is eligible by visiting the Workplace Charging Scheme webpage. If you are eligible and apply you will receive a code from OZEV. As approved OZEV installers you can send us the code and we’ll do the rest.
